416 Chartres St.
Historic Information
The 1864 structure is within the Vieux Carre District, the original settlement of the city of New Orleans. The district features a mixture of Creole and American styles of architecture, and was constructed as continuous closure buildings using ground floor spaces for business purposes with domestic quarters above. From 1979 – 2020, the address was home to K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen, led by legendary chef, Paul Prudhomme, and was described as one of the world’s most influential restaurants.
