341 S 3rd Street
Historic Information
Built in 1902 by Philip Lindenbergy, and designed by Charles W. Bellows, the property was historically apartments and a significant example of the streetcar suburb apartment building type in downtown Columbus, Ohio. With each apartment occupying the full depth of the building, and only six apartments sharing a given entrance, it offered a level of privacy and exclusivity to make it desirable to the targeted middle-class residents. The building was converted to office space in 1985, which is how it operates today.
