Located just east of downtown Cleveland, the property consists of two interconnected buildings. The church was built in 1891. The former headquarters of State Chemical was built in 1926 and operated in this location until 1941. To accommodate their growing business, State Chemical purchased the former church in 1941. The company remained in both buildings until they eventually outgrew the location and moved to a new headquarters in the mid-to-late 1960s. The buildings have had various commercial tenants throughout the years.
