Historic Information
Designed and built in the late 1880’s by prominent Denver architect, F.E. Edbrooke, the George Schleier Mansion is a prime example of Queen Anne architecture seen during the region’s mining heyday. The notable Schleier played a significant role in the settlement and early development of Denver, eventually becoming a member of City Council and serving as the City Tax Collector.
